Women issues have continued to dominate discussions at different forums and one of such was the Warrior Woman Conference put together by The Wives Round Table, a radio programme anchored by the founder, Amaka Obi.
Mrs Obi says the Wives round table was born out of the need to bring wholeness, wholesomeness and wellbeing to the Woman in all spheres of life.
She says the vision is to raise a nation of women who live a life of wellbeing and are secure in themselves to support one another and hold each other’s hands in the journey of life!
The conference had a number of speakers such as Wazobia FM’s presenter Lolo, Mary Akpobome, Anthonia Ojenagbon and Woman of Substance’s Ify Onyegbule.
The conversation bordered on women taking hold of their lives to rise above poverty and pity with women supporting women towards creating an atmosphere where women are empowered mentally.
