Publisher of the Ovation Magazine and former presidential candidate Chief Dele Momodu, has reacted to the rumor making the rounds that President Muhammadu Buhari was set to wed a second wife on Friday in Abuja.
The very rife rumor emerged from the villa that Buhari will be getting married in a very quiet ceremony to Sadia Umar Farouq, the current Minister for Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management at the mosque in Abuja.
This rumor gained ground following the continued absence of the First Lady, Aisha who has been out of the Presidential Villa since her trip to Saudi Arabia and UK.
Unnamed sources say Ms Farouk who has is single has been a very close friend of Buhari and well known in his circle of friends.
Mrs. Buhari who has been away from the country for more than two months, made her return just as different news platforms online and the Social media raged with the purported wedding plans by President Muhammadu Buhari.
An unconfirmed amateur video had surfaced today on Facebook where she was protesting being locked out of her personal quarters at the Presidential Villa.
In a reaction to this claim of a wedding, Momodu said on his twitter handles that there would be no such wedding between Buhari and Farouk.
