Ohafia LGA Chair calls for harmony among ethnic groups in the community

The Chairman of Ohafia Local Government Area, Hon. Mba Ukaha has restated his resolve to partner with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies in the area to maintain peace and order in Ohafia and it’s environs.
He has also promised to join in efforts by the state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu in ensuring that peace and cordial coexistence reigned in the state.
Hon. Mba Ukaha restated this at the 14 Army Brigade-the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks, Ohafia during the 2018 West African Social Activities, WASA of the Brigade.

He also called for a harmonious relationship among the various ethnic groups living in Ohafia.

The Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu was represented by his Deputy, the Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu at the event.

Men and officers of the Nigerian Army thrilled the guests and other visitors with memorable display of various cultural dances from around the country.

Also present at the Army WASA event were; Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai – Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Captain Awa Kalu (Rtd), Chief Mascot Obike as well as the traditional rulers of Ebem Autonomous community and Akanu Ohafia.
