Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buahari, on Saturday in Kano, appealed to Nigerians to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 16, 2019 Presidential election as they did in 2015 so as to sustain the Buhar’s initiated social intervention programmes in the country.
Aisha Buhari made the appeal yesterday at the North West flag-off of Buhari’s re-election, promised that the President would not disappoint Nigerians, adding that the country is set to move to the next level.
According to her, Buhari has been and still very much committed to the Nigerian project, so as to lift it to greater, where all category of Nigerians would have food on their table.
According to Punch, she explained that her mission in Kano was to gather women and rekindle the hope in the Nigerian project, promising that her husband would continue to steer the ship to greater heights, as well as continue to tackle the state of insecurity.
Prominent among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswil Akpobio, former Lagos State Military Administrator, Brigadier-General Buba Marwa, and many others.
